Greg is a lifelong resident of Chicagoland having been born on the Near North Side to which he returned twelve years ago.

He has been a member of the Society of Architectural Historians since `1973, the year he commenced his professional career.

Since his full retirement in October of 2008 he has actively pursued foreign travel, gourmet dining, cooking, as well as membership in a number of historically oriented organizations.

He was one of the original members of the Restoration Committee “Hole in the Wall Gang” at the Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio Foundation.

He is an avid collector of sundry items such as books, scale models and other useless trivia.
